My name is Bill Mayfield and I'm the Owner/Head Instructor of Hidden Samurai Martial Arts.

 

 I began my formal martial arts journey at 19 years of age, while in the US Air Force as a Military Police officer at F.E. Warren AFB Cheyenne, Wy in 1992. After nearly 25 years, I have now trained in several Karate systems, Jeet Kune Do, Inosanto/Lacoste and Pekiti Tirsia systems of Kali, several Silat systems, Muay Thai aka Thai boxing and its original form Muay Boran, Gracie JiuJitsu, Japanese Goshinjutsu and Aikijutsu, Ban Thai Kenpo, Catch/Shoot Wrestling, Judo, Sambo, Akumu Ryu Bujutsu.  

 I have now been blessed to have earned my Nidan or 2nd degree Black Belt ranking in Akumu Ryu Bujutsu along with Shodan or 1st degree Black Belts/Instructor rankings in Japanese Goshin-Jutsu, Aiki-Jutsu, Thai boxing under 2 world ranking authorities, CACC wrestling, Ban Thai, Akumu blend Kali and Silat, Filipino Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do.

I’m working on 2 more at present...Gracie JiuJitsu and Judo. 

 

My wife and I decided it was time for us to move our family back to my original home of Owensboro, Ky in 2004 and with the Akumu Ryu Soke, Randall Browns' blessing, I opened Shinobi (Hidden) Samurai Martial Arts and began teaching here in Owensboro. 

 

 After 10 years teaching in Owensboro, we have had the privilege to train a ton of people in Owensboro and the surrounding region and we'd love to add you to the list of our students!!!
